Hey I'm Cody, a 27 year old Las Vegas native, and a serious writing addict. I only wish I had more time for it lately. It seems whenever I get the chance, someone interrupts me or I get writers block. I will most likely just be posting my poetry here. Most of it is old, the first one I wrote was when I was 10 and was written for my great-grandmother who passed on. But there is some new as well.
I wrote quite a bit from the ages of 14-17 in regards to poetry and my earlier attempts at book writing, but after the age of 18, the muse just didn't strike as hard or as often as she used to when it came to my poems, opting instead to give me book ideas. But I still write the poems down when they come to mind.
Some of my poems are rather long, some have no poetry format of any kind, and I think a few are both. Call it freeform, call it insanity I still enjoy what I do. I have no problems writing sexually explicit or violently graphic content, I guarantee it will show up in my work and I am just warning everyone now, because it is unlikely to change.
