Dylan208 was my chatroom name, before the various poetry chatrooms I frequented closed down for one reason or another.
I was born in the UK in 1949. Woodfield Clemens is my pen name, adopted in 1965. The name derives from Mark Twain whose real name was/is Samuel Langhorne Clemens.
I would have adopted the whole name but people would have assumed that I was a devotee of Twain, which i am not, I just liked the name.
The 'Woodfield' bit derives from the name of a TV producer I came across in the TV Times. This man's name was John Woodfield. For awhile I called myself John Woodfield Clemens. After 3 months I knocked off the John from the name and it became Woodfield Clemens.
The words that I write are the stepping stones of a spiritual journey that began in 1965. The web site link is stated above. This site contains poems written between 1965 and 1993. Hopefully, before too long, I will have a new website set up with a more comprehensive access to my written works and audio/video recordings.
If you wish to listen to audio/video recordings of some of my poems, you can access them through Google by putting in the name MrClemens61 and it will take you to the poems.
If any member of psyjoniz wishes to contact me feel free to do so. I am open to those who wish to talk to me in the chatrooms.
Finally, I will post poems now and then. I am often busy when I am on line and seldom have the time required to make detailed comment on peoples works. I do read other peoples works and will make the odd comment here and there. I accept that this may well work both ways, so if I don't see any comments on my work I will not feel that no one is interested in what I have posted here. Thank you for the invitation to join you, I appreciate the fact I was asked.
