"Consumed"
by jinglinglady (2010-02-03.01)
Consumed

If tigers freely roamed the streets and alleyways
And you were the biggest, fiercest tiger of all
I would still come to you and despite your roar
I would feel safe

The construction of us is exquisite with pain
The pound of your need like bar room brawl
You pull me into vortex desperate, and plead more
My want you take

The highest highs, the sunshine, the rain
Simple in their dangerous beauty I’ll recall.
Wasted, all the time of the before
Passions’ awake

Your tiger eyes consume my naked brave
Seized, beguiled, I wantonly fall
Your strength explodes into my inner core
Complete. Your mate.
