"his whole life"
by theusedpoet (2005-02-22.06)
she wakes up. turns on the radio. they're playing another "princess" song. disgusted she gets out of bed. walks to the mirror. there she is looking sleepy again. bags under her eyes. another restless night.
another night where she dreamt of being free. of not being tied to this disease. of not being the dream gurl he's always wanted her to be.
she quietly combs her hair. there really is no need. he's going to think it's beautiful anyways.
paints her lips. lines her eyes. she sees no point in this masquerade of life. but still continues on. finding clothes that fit her right. she knows he's going to be pleased. she is after all, his whole life.
and she's sick of it.
