don't look out the window.
the city lights burn tonight.
don't look out the window.
don't look out the window used. don't peer thru your curtains to the world unfolding underneath you.
don't stare down into the valley. follow the streets until no more can be seen. you already know they disappear.
you already know wats down them.
don't look out the window.
don't look out the window. stay inside tonight. don't let your mind wander. don't let it escape to dream about wat might have been. wat could be. you know that road is never ending. you know that road is pain.
don't look out the window.
don't look out that window. you already know wat you'll see. you already have that image in your mind. it's burned there. don't you remember the pain? don't you remember wat love did to you? don't let curiousity get to you. don't let the night linger like that. be strong. be strong used.
don't look out that window.
